We have always done our best to be transparent with our customers on the issues happening behind the scenes in our market.
Unfortunately, it has become very difficult lately to source inventory on a stable basis due to stricter Customs regulation and the current political landscape. Customs seems to be checking almost every shipment coming into the USA currently, adding significant amounts of time to delivery - if the product is not sent back to the shipper for the smallest reason in the first place. We are doing everything we can to find new suppliers of high quality products, however they seem to all be running into the same issue. There is also little to no domestic availability anymore.
With this being said, we have made the decision to increase prices based on sourcing difficulty and increased scrutiny. We do not take price increases lightly and have only done so once before in our entire history. However, due to the level of demand we have as well as the current shipping issues we believe it is necessary at this time. We have added new, similar products to help make up for this at cheaper prices as they are sourced domestically and are stable. Please understand we are working tirelessly to resolve this issue for our customers and if we are able to re-stabilize properly then we will lower prices again.
