HSMNHS4CAL – MINI HOTPLATES & STIRRERS
The durable OHAUS USA Mini Hotplate Stirrer is designed to handle everyday lab tasks with ease, capable of heating and stirring up to 1000 ml of water on its 4 x 4 in. (102 x 102 mm) ceramic top surface. Compact and reliable, these units are an excellent choice for classrooms, teaching labs, and general laboratory use where straightforward heating and stirring are required. Each model comes with an integrated support rod holder and locking knob to accommodate the optional support rod kit. Stirring versions are supplied with a 1.5 in. (38 mm) PTFE-coated stir bar for added convenience.
Applications
Suitable for boiling water, dissolving buffers and reagents, media preparation, and sample concentration.
Operation
Includes a detachable three-wire cord and plug for simple setup and use.
Construction
Built with a Valox housing and equipped with easy-to-use control knobs. Stirring models include a 1.5 in. (3.8 cm) PTFE-coated stir bar, while fixed temperature versions feature an On/Off toggle switch.
